This program is funded by Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ), there are a number of requirements that need to be met to access this funding. CSQ funded and subsidised courses are for existing, and eligible workers in the building and construction industry. Please note CPCCOHS2001A Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry is a pre-requisite for students wishing to undertake CPCCCM2010B Work safely at heights. RIIWHS204D Work safely at heights does not have a pre-requisite.
Please be aware that you will also be required to supply the following items at your cost:
Cairns campus: Course delivered as a one day workshop; 8:00 - 4:00pm; date negotiated with teacher.
Thursday Island campus: Course will be delivered as a one day workshop; 9:00 - 4:00pm; dates to be advised.
Townsville Trade Training Centre (Bohle): Course will be delivered as a one day workshop; 8:00 - 4:00pm
*Participants with previous machinery experience will be given a challenge test and may complete in a shorter time for training delivered at the Townsville Trade Training Centre. Other site available by negotiation. Workshops are run on demand and require a minimum number of participants. Workshops can be tailored to suit industry groups.
