This course provides licensed plumbers with a refresher of their skills and knowledge to obtain endorsement on their licence to test, maintain and certify backflow prevention (BFP) devices. Course details
Participants need to be a licensed plumber and hold a current Backflow Prevention endorsement.
Study from any location
You can only revalidate your endorsement if it has been less than three (3) months from the expiry date. If it has been more than three (3) months, you may be required to complete the full course. Please contact the Plumbing Industry Council to confirm revalidation requirements if longer than three months on 1800 682 021.
You have a maximum of five weeks from enrolment date to complete the unit enrolled into. You will require a username and password to access the course which will be emailed to you upon enrolment.
The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.
You are eligible for the concession price of a course if you are eligible for subsidised training, and are listed on an Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you hold a Department of Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or if you have a disability.
