Express yourself with TAFE Queensland North

Explore your artistic talents and further develop your skills across various disciplines. You could become an artist in your own right or enrol in further study with TAFE Queensland North. We offer Certificate and Diploma level qualifications in visual arts. For those interested in obtaining specific skills in the visual arts without gaining Certification, these are the courses for you.  You can enrol at any time within the study year and attend existing classes in both Certificate III and Diploma Levels. The workshops in both locations are extremely cost effective and allows a flexibility for those who want to go back to basics, extend already existing skills or enjoy a shared learning environment.

Townsville campus is offering the workshops as either an evening option in printmaking, sculpture or painting or available as a daytime option in timetabled existing classes. Please express your interest for the Cairns campus workshops to be offered in 2017. The workshops will have an open enrolment date enabling you to begin when it is suitable for you. You may attend a timetabled day and receive 3 hours of tutoring in both theory and practice that is currently being delivered and have studio access for the remaining 3 hours of the day.
