It is expected that all students have employment in a retail optical outlet prior to enrolling in this course. Students must be supported with regular monitoring of performance and a learning environment as observation by a supervisor is a requirement of assessments. As the course is delivered online, students must have sound computer skills and access to the Internet via their personal computer including an email address, access to a webcam and headset with microphone. As students will be required to read and respond to written, technical materials and conduct research, a sound achievement in English and Mathematics is highly desirable.
Students are required to contact teacher prior to enrolment to obtain an individual training program.
