Students will be informed at individual workshops of all physical resources required to be purchased.
Basic art materials will be supplied.
Full time over six months attending four days per week - Monday to Thursday; or Part time over 12 to 18 months depending on days of attendance.
Part time study
Students may enrol part time however they MUST enrol in all units in a specified area scheduled for the semester .e.g.
Printmaking: CUAPRI301, BSBDES302
Painting: BSBDES301, CUAPAI301
12 units are required to successfully complete this qualification; 4 core and 8 elective units. (4 units must be selected from Group A; 2 units must be selected from Group A or B; addition 2 unspecified electives).
Please select the 5 electives that are nominated as Mandatory to ensure best recommended study outcome. Select 3 electives based on intention to study Diploma or choose 3 of 5 units in the alternative pathway.
If you have difficulty paying the full cost of a course up front you might be eligible for a payment plan. This will allow you to pay for your course in instalments, rather than one upfront payment at the time of enrolment.
The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.
Certificate 3 Guarantee
You can receive a subsidy towards one certificate III qualification from a list of eligible courses. The amount provided depends on the demand for skilled workers in your chosen industry.
You're eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee if you:
Are 15 years or older and no longer in school
Live in Queensland full time
Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with the necessary visa or work permits
And don't currently have (or are enrolled in) a certificate 3 or higher level qualification.
