Basic welding covers the introduction in the use of welding processes used in industry. The successful completion of this course may be recognised by employers in the engineering industry. Course details

How to enrol

Entry requirements

Students must be at least 16 years old.

Resources required

Textbooks & Stationery:

  • Pen and notebook
  • Industrial longs (long sleeve shirt & trousers or overalls)

Safety Wear:

  • Safety boots
  • Clear safety glasses and a pair of welding gloves
  • Own welding helmet is desirable


Delivered on Tuesday nights over 10 weeks from 6pm to 9pm at the Bohle Campus.
