Resources required

Attire is to be of current industry standard with steel cap boots to be worn during workshop operations.


Stage 1: Two blocks, 7 weeks in total including 1 week for the foundations program (3 weeks + 3 weeks).
Stage 2:  Three blocks, 6 weeks in total (2 weeks + 2 weeks + 2 weeks).
Stage 3:  Two blocks, 4 weeks in total (2 weeks + 2 weeks).

Class times: Monday - Wednesday 8.00am - 4.45pm. Thursday - 10.30am - 4.45pm. Friday 8.00am - 4.45pm.

The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.

  • Heavy duty clothing suitable for the workshop - no particular colour
  • Steel capped work boots
  • Safety glasses
  • Ear plugs

A Student Administration Charge of $48.00 is applicable to all enrolments, paid once per calendar year.
