We are currently taking applications for Semester 1 2019 intake for second year entry only:
Second year entry requirements for this qualification are:

  • Completion of a relevant TAFE Queensland diploma, such as:
    • CUA51115 Diploma of Visual Arts
    • CUA50715 Diploma of Graphic Design
    • CUA50915 Diploma of Photoimaging
    • CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media
    • CUV50111 - Diploma of Visual Arts
  • These diplomas award a full year's credit towards this degree. You can gain credit for diplomas in other study areas, however the credit arrangement may differ. Call us for information on your credit options
  • Course delivery is subject to minimum student numbers.

Resources required

No specific resources are required to successfully complete this course.

It is recommended that students have access to a reliable Internet connection to access the University of Canberra’s online learning system Moodle, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for students to use at all TAFE Queensland locations.

Annual Indicative Cost

The Annual Indicative cost is the fee that applies to a standard full-time enrolment, which is 24 credit points. For more information about HECS-HELP visit Study Assist.

This is a Commonwealth Supported Place and you may be eligible for a HECS-HELP loan.

Subsidised

The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.

Concession

You are eligible for the concession price of a course if you are eligible for subsidised training, and are listed on an Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you hold a Department of Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or if you have a disability.   • All students are required to pay a Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).

At the beginning of each semester we host orientation events across our locations so you can meet your teachers and classmates, get to know your campus, and familiarise yourself with your study schedule. We also throw in a bunch of free activities, because... why not? We like to have fun.
