Entry requirements

A sound achievement in Year 10 Science, Maths and English is desirable.  Mature age applicants are welcome.

Resources required

No specific resources are required to successfully complete this course.

It is recommended that students have access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for students to use at all TAFE Queensland locations.

Timetable

External: Blended studies.  Students should expect to commit 15 hours per week to studies.

Cairns Campus: Classroom based studies, 2 days per week 9am - 3pm Tuesday and Wednesday

Townsville (Pimlico) Campus: Classroom based studies, 2 days per week 9am - 3pm Tuesday and Wednesday

Placement

If candidate is not already working in the sector a Vocational Placement is required for this qualification VPC 120
