Learn fundamental painting techniques in the immersive short course with celebrated Cairns artist Andrea Huelin. Using oil paint, students will focus on using tone, complimentary colours and confident brushwork to create effective paintings with the use of mediums and solvents.

This course is perfect for those starting out at a beginner level, those refreshing past skills and those wanting to prepare for further study. Well-known for her unlikely oil paintings of accidental, overlooked stuff of everyday life, Andrea Huelin will guide you through painting with solvents, sharing her tips and tricks along the way.

For continuing students wishing to study further with Andrea Huelin, a shorter 4 week course is also available. Course details
