Learn some tricks of the trade in this Photoshop course designed for personal and professional projects and those who know ‘a bit’ but want to fill in some gaps.

Discover the finer points of how to navigate your way around Photoshop with Cairns-based graphic designer, illustrator and artist Caroline Mudge. Be confident in how to use the tools and layers, to add or delete elements from your photos, to change a background, to improve old or damaged photos, and how to make colours pop using filters, transform tools and masking techniques. How to enrol

Entry requirements

Whilst there are no entry requirements, this short course is aimed at students who already have basic computer skills and/or minimal exposure to Adobe Photoshop or other photo editting programs.

Resources required

Students will be required to bring:

  • notepad and pen
  • high resolution photos on USB (minimum 8G recommended to store your work

For the best outcome; participants should have access to Adobe Photoshop outside of class time.


This course is delivered as a 4 week evening course; or as a one-full day intensive course.  The course is delivered face-to-face by experienced artist and lecturer, Caroline Mudge

4 week delivery: Delivery is Wednesdays 6pm - 8.30pm. K block, room K1.10

1 day delivery: Delivery is Tuesday 9am - 4.30pm. K block, room K1.10
