Mixed Mode Learning - Day

Do you want to turn your life and work experience into a new career? Or are you looking for a way to explore a new role in your current workplace? Let TAFE Queensland North train you, so you can train others. The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the qualification you need to deliver nationally accredited training. Whether you're hoping to deliver certificate or diploma level qualifications or just single units of competency you will need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You'll learn how the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector operates and how you can fit into it as an accredited trainer.

This program will prepare you to work for VET providers including TAFE institutes and private Registered Training Organisations (RTO's). You'll learn about using training packages, designing and developing learning programs, working in the VET sector, planning and organising assessment, developing and using assessment instruments and how to facilitate group based, individual and work based learning. To deliver accredited training you must have a combination of broad industry knowledge and experience as well as a recognised qualification in your industry area. If you do not currently have a qualification to match your industry experience you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Course details
