Give your career a makeover

TAFE Queensland North has an excellent reputation and relationship with industry.  After completion of the Diploma of Beauty, our graduating students have gone on to work in local salons.

The Cairns campus has a newly constructed Spa room which will feature a brand new Vichy shower with water jets designed for body treatments. This renovation will enable the Cairns Campus to deliver the SPA stream of the Diploma of Beauty - which is the preferred outcome for industry in Far North Queensland.

All locations will also have Salon days where students will provide treatments including waxing, eyelash extensions, tinting, massage, facials, make up, manicures, pedicures and spa treatments on real paying clients.

Students will also be able to complete 2 weeks (1 week per semester) of work experience in a real salon.  Completion of work experience is very beneficial and will assist the student with gaining employment after completion of this program  Course details Course details
