The Student Rules are designed to ensure you are aware of your rights as a student, as well as your responsibilities to the institute and other students. If you break the Student Rules, disciplinary action may be taken against you.

Misconduct is any personal conduct or behaviour that is deemed inappropriate by TAFE Queensland.
All students are to treat others with respect and fairness at all times and expect the same in return. Bullying and harassment of students or staff is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. All students must follow the classroom rules and dress code set out by your teacher. Unlawful activities will be reported to the police.

TAFE Queensland is an adult learning environment that prepares you for business and industry as well as further career development. Students expected to dress in a manner that is neat, clean and safe at all times.
All students are required to use institute computers and equipment with care and in a respectful manner. All damage must be reported to the teacher.
All students are required to have fee arrangements in place before commencing study/classes. If you plan to withdraw or transfer your enrolment, you must speak to TAFE Queensland Customer Service to make the necessary arrangements. If you have any difficulties meeting the requirements, support is available to help you achieve your study and career goals. Students are responsible for attending classes and placements regularly and on time.
All students are required to complete assessment on time. It is your responsibility to report any difficulties meeting timeframes to your teacher. Students must follow instructions for assessment and examinations. If you break any academic rules, you may be subject to a misconduct process which could result in a suspension or exclusion from the institute. If you don't agree with a grade, you have the right to appeal this decision.
All students will be given your Results of Assessments electronically. If you lose your qualifications or statement of attainment, you can get a new one by speaking to TAFE Queensland Customer Service.
