Don't wait until you've finished high school to get a nationally-recognised qualification - the SchoolTech program is a great way to get a head start on your career by studying a variety of Certificates in a range of industries.
The SchoolTech initiative is an excellence in training award-winning program (Australian Training Award Winner, Queensland Training Awards and finalist for Showcase Awards) between TAFE Queensland North, the Great Barrier Reef International Marine College, Woree State High School and Skill360 Australia.
Your involvement in the SchoolTech program begins at the start of Year 11 and finishes when you graduate at the end of Year 12.
Practical skills and work experience are at the core of the program in order to give our students every opportunity to get an apprenticeship or traineeship - whether a school-based apprenticeship or a full-time placement when you graduate.
The SchoolTech program is a versatile one and is open to all students who have completed Year 10 or the equivalent.
